A vintage 1980’s NEW OLD STOCK velour wrap robe Made in Italy in a gorgeous soft peach shade called Creamsicle. This lovely robe was imported from Italy many years ago.

I also have several other robes and three outstanding peignoir and nightgown sets which I will be listing soon which came from an Italian importer who owned a boutique store in the New York area. All brand new OLD STOCK FROM THE ‘80S! And they are all stunning. Keep watching for them because I will be putting them on soon just in time for the holidays which will be here before you know it.

The velour fabric is very soft and the color is luscious. It is rare to find a robe like this in such a beautiful shade of peach and this is one of my favorite colors.

The bodice and wide lapels are absolutely stunning with rippled gathered satin which travels down from the top of the collar to nearly the waist. Detailed curved stitching surrounding the ruffles on the shawl collar. More gathered satin adorns the ends of the sleeves. Inside ties for a good fit. Matching belt with loops. One pocket in the side seam. Beautifully made in Italy!

I also have this same style robe in a Aquamarine in a Size Medium (Italian Size 46) and another in a Size Extra Large (Italian Size 50) and a Ruby in a Size Large (Italian Size 48) which is in another listing.

Size: Extra Large or Italian Size 50 but go by the measurements for a good fit.  The robe may also fit a Size Large but go by the measurements for a good fit.
Approximate Measurements – This means the measurements of the item listed – not of your own figure. You must be a few inches smaller than the measurements shown.  .  Measure a robe that you are now wearing and company the measurements.  If they are close, then it should fit.

Fabric: I cannot read Italian so I do not know the fabric content but it is very soft velour.

Condition: NEW OLD STOCK WITH TAG - there are some fold marks below the back of the robe about 14" up from the hem in back (photo above) and maybe some smaller others plus some tiny pin pricks on the front where straight pins were used to secure the robes in the gift box (box not included) they were in for the last 40 years. No one would notice it in back as it is so far down unless you are very closely examining the robe and should come out over time and probably washing.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.

International customer have 14 days to contact Midnight Glamour about returning an item if they should want to.  International customers may have to pay be additional customs and import taxes and there maybe unforeseen customs delays. The seller is not responsible for these delays nor for the custom charges as that is the international customer's obligation when purchasing an item outside your country.

Since we are a small business we do not credit your return back to a credit card. We only allow an exchange for another item or a store credit which is good for one month after which time, it is canceled if not used.  We do not accept returns or cancellations.  Shipping fees are not refundable.
