VINTAGE 3 PIECE SET HALTER TOP SKIRT CAPRIS ADORNED WITH PINK SEA HORSES, LEAVES & CORAL - JUST ADORABLE

Just an adorable 3-piece halter top, skort skirt & capris set adorned with pink sea horses with green coral & leaves with an aqua background.  (The background color is deep aqua or leaning toward turquoise although in some photos it looks dark green.  The shorts photos or the last photo with the tag look closest to the shade it actually is.)

Horzontal pleated halter top with a tie in front which has cut oval pink buttons down the front.  Tie can either be made into a halter look or a strapless look when tying the tie in a bow.  Grosgrain ribbon trim on the slimming princess seams front & back.  Beautifully scalloped halter top.  Invisible zipper in back.  Beautiful heavier cotton & spandex fabric.  

Just the cutest little skort skirt with pink ribbon accents on the slits on the sides with shorts under the top layer.  Zipper in back.

Capris also have the pink grosgrain ribbon big accent bows on slits on the sides of the pants.  Invisible zipper on the side.

The set is beautifully made and someone is going to look just gorgeous in this pink sea horse and green & aqua set this summer!

The following measurements are THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE CLOTHES - NOT YOUR BODY MEASUREMENTS - YOU MUST BE SEVERAL INCHES SMALLER TO WEAR THIS SET

Halter Top:  Medium but go by the measurements.  My maniquin is a size 6 and & could barely get it zipped in back.  Vintage sizes are smaller so I would say this is more like a small top.
Across the top 33 - stretched to a tight 34.  Waist 30 - stretched tight 32.  Front from the top to the bottom 16.  Top of the zipper in back to the bottom nearly 13.

Skirt Skort:  
Size:  Tag says size 8 but go by the measurements for a good fit as it is probably not a today's size 8.  Waist measured laying flat 30 - 32 stretched tight.  Hips are measured 7" down from the waist which makes them 38 - 39 but you also have to go by the measurements of the shorts under the skirt.  Shorts under the skirt are appx 38 - 39  but remember when you put a skirt or shorts on your body, it is going to pull them up which makes a difference from just measuring an item laying flat on the ground so make sure you are quite a bit smaller than the measurements or it will not fit.  Length is 16-1/2 in back.

Capris:  Size 6 but go by the measurements and leave several inches for when a body is inside a garment which makes a big difference.
Waist 30.  Top of capris to end of leg 31-1/2.  Inseam 22.

Fabric:  Beautiful fabric cotton & spandex - colors are fresh looking & vivid.
Condition:  Very good - great condition may not have been worn or if it was, it was very little.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
